hi everybody 'im new here & i want to ask you a question about backlinks
i searched blogs related to my keywords , now the submit comment form look like this :-
    Name:-
    Website :-
    Comment:-
now if i put my URL in website section does that considered like a backlink or i must put my url in the comments because 90% of the blogs moderate comments & it might get deleted .

    & Thanks for the help:)

It is ONLY considered as a backlink if the blog itself has the attribute DOFOLLOW for your link, when you comment. If it has NOFOLLOW, that's zero. It will not be considered a backlink.

And I think I've seen these days a list with DOFOLLOW blogs, somewhere on this forum. You can search for it.
    Hope that helps.

You can look into the SOURCE of the website and look for DOFOLLOW or NOFOLLOW.

And I've already told you that you can search through this forum for a DOFOLLOW WEBSITES list. I just can't remember in which forum category I've seen it.

There is no such thing as a DOFOLLOW attribute! There's only a NOFOLLOW attribute and the absence of NOFOLLOW.

Yes, you're right. I'm sorry. If it doesn't have NOFOLLOW, it's DOFOLLOW.

Whether it is a backlink or not has nothing to do with whatever attribute might or might not be attached to it. And one more thing, there is no such thing as a 'DoFollow' attribute. You say that a nofollow link has no effect on the seps. What do you base this on? Just the name?

Well there is an add-on in firefox to find dofollow, Nodofollow add-on.

And another way is, you have to place the mouse in the anchor text and right click it, and check properties, if you see it's external, then it's DoFollow, and if you see nofollow, then it's obviously NoFollow.

Most blogs frown upon 'in comment' URLs. But they are okay with linking to your homepage. Many are nofollow but you can find dofollow blogs too. Keep your comments useful and your comments should surely get approved.

I agreed with you, Making useful and closely related to the article comments will really help to get approved, and also choosing related blogs to your niche also helps a lot.

    Thanks

Blogs do not provide quality links for long time and only dofollow links are useful in the blog.

Post quality comments on do-follow blogs and even on no-follow high traffic blogs.

Whether they are do-follow or no-follow blog if your comments are not good enough there is no chance of your comment going through.

Make it simple, it doesnt matter whether the link appear inside the post or appear as your name. The only concern is whether they are dofollow or nofollow.

If you are posting a valuable comment with your link in the content of the comment, then there is no way that it gets moderated.

Bloggers like conversations happening on their posts, so they will literally start a new thread of replies making new visitors to peek into what's the shouts are all about.

Do not care for no follow or dofollow, if you are a budding blogger.

Comment frequently and post valuable comments.

the addon can be downloaded here:
    http://www.quirk.biz/searchstatus/

It also shows pagerank and alexa ranking. Has options to show keyword density, meta tags and more.

When installed, right-click the little icon in the bottom right-corner of the browser to make selections (highlight nofollow links etc..)
