Unfortunately, the staff isn't very knowledgeable and is rather unprofessional. They didn't know anything about LVM and wouldn't set it up on a dedicated server, despite supposedly offering custom partition layouts. I stated flat out that if they couldn't offer LVM I wasn't interested and wanted a refund. They proceeded to set up my server anyway. I'm now in the process of attempting to get a refund and will try to update with how that goes.
Well, I ended up going with [wholesale internet and have been quite happy. Not only were they happy to set up the machine however I wanted, they also have KVM/IP so that you can do the install yourself, if you want. Their supprt (the 2 times I've had to use it) was very quic, responsive, and helpful. Their cheapest plan is very similar to Feral. $50 for 500GB HD, 1GB RAM, Dual Core Atom, and unmetered 10Mbps. (which I get >50Mbps on pretty regularly) The one caveat is that they don't pre-install any software for you, but imo that's not a big deal for somebody with some Linux experience. The one positive thing I can say about Feral is that they did end up giving me a refund. http://www.wholesaleinternet.com/dedicated.php
