I can't believe how defensive you guys are being seriously. I have survived everything above! If a person has a problem they can CHOOSE to try and fix it. If they do nothing the problem snowballs until it IS uncontrolable. They will get very depressed and yes suicide may look like a good option for some. The fact is they are taking the easy way and they have made no effort to try help themselves. Is a person struggling at work helpless? NO they can stand up for themselves or get a new job or create their own job. Is a person with no friends all alone? NO there are 7 billion people on the planet just make the choice to make friends. Family problems? Who hasn't had family problems. My family is seriously fucked up but I do not complain. I do not let it wear my down or sap my energy or positivty. I simply accept it and do the best I can. War raging in the city? I bet the suicide rate is much higher in cities and countries not directly affected by war. My town got bombed when I was younger and people I knew got killed and others I know lost limbs. There are no excuses for suicide.
Well you're points are better than mine, aren't they? But still mate, there are suicides happening all over da world; what i think is that not everyone's mentally strong enough to cope up with everything. If it wasn't like this, there wouldn't have been a depressed soul then.. What we must do is to tackle the people patiently, try to change their perspective, and so on.
Indeed Refresher People need to be taught more at school than just math and english etc. What about some relationship management classes instead of just sex education? Relationships are much more complex, rewarding and potentially devasting. A lot of people do not have good role models in life. I understand that these are struggling. People just need to be educated better and have a strong person to be there for them and help guide the way if they are unable to find the way themselves.
In my opinion I don't agree with suicide idea. But if you can see, when you talk with people about suicide, they all say that it's a fair act. No one approve it.
Suicide is just the shortcut to the second life there is nothing cowardly about it I hate when people criticize others for committing suicide. I compare committing suicide to declaring bankruptcy when you have no money left and thats it for you financially you declare bankruptcy well when you're out of motivation to live and thats it for you in life you commit suicide.
On second thoughts, I feel for the relatives of the person who's committed suicide, how they would be left abandoned for their whole life, clueless about what actually happened to that person.... not justified from this angle
I have never thought of suicide as a way out. I have been very depressed at time's but suicide is never the way to go.
It was quite a few moments when I got really depressed, but I never thought of suicide. I don`t know. Maybe I`m not kind of person.
end one problem just to live in hell for eternity . their is always a better way to deal with problems. Even if you have to get drunk. at least you will still be alive in the morning.
Don't care about what any religion says, it's just a stupid thing to do. Except when you're terminally ill and in pain, maybe. When you're under much pressure at work, then quit and tell your boss he can go f**k himself. There's always something else you can do.
Only weak people those who can not bear pressure do it. It makes the soul more weaker. It is not the right solution for anything.
Those who commit suicide need psychological help and treatment . Poor guy . Life is one time, short and fantastic . Never try or think of that .
I don't think those who commit suicide for the adequate reasons are considered selfish. Imagine the turmoil a person under depression is going through, if one put yourself in their shoes, it can be considered as a relief of the pain. Sometimes it can't be helped...
