Where can i find a proxy which isn't a standard script? Also why do 90% of proxies dissapear every other month?

You can add A-Z Proxies to your list, the first proxy list not to force users to link back.

 

Cheers. Hey the admin panels on my new proxys isn't working: when I try to log in I just get this message:

The settings file was found at includes/settings.php but is not writable. Please set the appropriate permissions to make the settings file writable.

What do I do

 

You need to set the chmod settings on the file so that it is writable by the script. What FTP application are you using to upload the files to your server?

 

just filemanager on cpanel. Its weird I did the exact same thing on my other proxy but on a different host and it worked fine..

 

So guys do you see any changes as August is here, increase in revenue from proxies ??

 

My proxies are at least staying over the $2 mark in AdSense

And my Adversal earnings were almost nothing for the last month, and I just learned it was cause I accidentally removed the code from my best proxy

Different hosts have different setups, just because something worked with one does not mean it will automatically work with the other.

You need to go into your filemanager and locate the config.php file. Once you have found it look for an option to change the file permissions. First try 755 and if that setting doesnt work try 777.

 

Didn't get admin working yet but have edited most of the settings I wanted changed manually. One more question, I have a list of IPs of countries I want to ban but all of them have "deny from" in front of the actual number. Will the bans still work if I put them in or do I need to remove the "deny from" for them to work?

* Still can't get blocked IPs working. Put in numbers from blockthatcountry.com for Iran, Parkistan, China and a few others but then when I tried to access the site it wouldn't let me either! I got my brother to test it and he couldn't as well from another computer at his house. Why would it be doing this?

Grrr got 3 problems with glype 1.1 atm:

1.) admin.php will not work, not much of a concern as I can just edit the settings file but still annoying.
2.) when I used a blockacountry.com list of IPs to ban a few low paying traffic countries it would not let me get on the page.
3.) facebook will not load when once I have logged in. The page just goes blank. I have glype 1.1 installed and have both facebook plugins yet it still won't work for me on IE or chrome. I believe my brother got it to work on opera.

Any help would be much appreciated.
