    Just created MichiganSportsForum.com. Its all about Michigan sports teams - Pistons, Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, college teams, and HS teams.

    wonder what you thought of the site and if you have any suggestions?

    what is the best way to get members to sign up and be active?

    This is starting to be a recurring theme with me and the reviews I post so maybe I need to lay off the caffeine. The site doesn't excite me.

    I know you are trying to incorporate all Michigan sports so you need to watch what colors you use to not seem like a 'homer' board, but baby blue and gray really don't generate excitement, and the pictures up top are so small, their excitement score is pretty low as well.

    I would take a look at other sports forums and see how they are using fonts, colors, and images to create excitement. As it stands now, the only thing that makes me excited is your favicon.

    thank you for your opinions. Being new to this, i'll listen to anything. I thought the same thing about not being exciting, so I had a new logo made to replace the "Michigan Sports Forum" on the top left. It has better colors and it "jumps off the screen more". I"ll be getting that up soon.

    Any more suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

    Overall, it appears pretty fine to me.
    the outline of the logo, perhaps you could try with a little darker shade.
