$45 Logo Contest - Peppers Online

Its been a few weeks - but its LOGO time again!

Heres the details:

Business Name: Peppers Online

Domain Name: peppersonline.com.au (not live yet) - please include the domain name in the logo

Business Type: Online Department Store - products will be extremely widespread so dont focus too much on that

Colour client likes: Something bright - no particular colour but she wants it to be really eyecatching, but very professional looking too

Logo use: All stationery, signage and printed on truck

Format: 100% Vector, fully scalable (including all text) - I understand that Vectors can be created using paths in photoshop but I have experienced problems with these recently as the drop shadows and strokes are not vector. I would prefer all logos to be created in either Illustrator or Corel Draw

They like the look of this site: http://logodesignrus.com.au/ - not necessarily the logo itself but the look of the site altogether .... the brightness of it and the contrast to the black.

As the Business name is Peppers Online, we thought that it might be a good idea to incorporates peppers into the design... but feel free to go with another direction if you have a particular idea.

As with all of my contests, I ALWAYS announce a winner but very rarely state an end time as I like to see what comes through and work with that.

Just some ideas and propositions i made before going to sleep: 100% vector and original, feedback appreciated.

 

Sorry... I should have said about the products. At the moment its mainly toys but it will expand into pretty anything and everything... so dont concern yourself too much about that. You guys are going down the right road already... nice work thanks! I'll be giving all of the feedback myself, and then showing the client the top 3 designs (this is how she has asked me to do it after I explained the process). From those top 3 designs/designers, edits will be requested (I assume anyway) and a winner will be decided upon. I've told the client that this usually takes a maximum of 3 days so I'm hoping 72 hours will wrap this one up.

EDIT... actually change that! I like both designs already so I can see I'm going to struggle to give feedback without showing all the really good ones to the client... I'm sure she wont mind! So... I will show all of the good designs to the client... those which I can see immediately arent suitable I'll give the feedback myself.

My personal favourite is Sabosushimi as its a bit brighter - I've a feeling that these aren't going to be as eye catching/bright as my client is looking for though. I've sent her the link to the feedback page and I'll add her feedback as soon as I have it.

Could you include the domain name within the logo also please... the .com.au - thanks

Thanks chemical I've added yours to the feedback page for my client to view. I like the pepper... nice graphic, but I think the logo as a whole maybe a little too simple. We'll await client feedback though

Just had a thought! The chances are the logo will be sat on a black background, as its the contrast of the bright colours on the dark background that she likes. As such we probably need to look at colours other than grey or black for the text?
