Hi, I want to ask for a 3 month stats.

Is the following details bad?

22,401 Views 147 Clicks $13.03 Earning

I personally think its an F and I failed to optimize the site to its true potent.
Its a nice niche site which has an authority rank on its keyword.

How should I optimized it?
The site is the top or you can just type
"m a d a e r a h" on your browser or Google. (Remove the blanks between letters.
It receives mainly natural SE traffic.

 

Looks like the stats have a low CTR. I think you should try different ad/link units in different ad placement. See what combination gives you the best results.

Ad placement and the type of ad/link unit that you are using is very important factors for CTR.

 

The niche/content is the #1 factor in what you receive per click. The other major factor is how well your clicks convert for the advertiser compared to clicks from another site. A lot of people would be happy with 9 cents per click - some sites get far less.

 

You CPC actually is above average, what you need to optimize is your CTR.
Try to play around with your ads placement and setting

What is the average CPC anyway? I did some search and according to this poll result here the best average is related to 10 cent and 16 cents.
Of course that also depends on niche. However as my site is more related to travel I don't think it should be below average 10cents.

 

Looks like a poor click through rate to me. I'd play around with ad placement and try to get it up to about 5% - at that rate you should receive over 1000 clicks for the views you get, or about $100.

Another problem might be the quality of traffic you're getting. You should aim to be getting most of your traffic as organic search engine traffic. If you are getting it from social bookmarking sites like stumbleupon, or similar places, these generally have a poor click through rate as well and there isn't much I think you can do to boost it if that is the case.

 

I never try on travel niche but my some of my friend did. The average CPC is about $1. 10cents ot 16 cents is average for the normal niche. Maybe you shall spend some time to study on the keyword

 

Your CPC is good. Your CTR has some room to improve. Changing ad placement might help.

 

the same as me,..................I am also sucked up with thiese number of clicks, but no earnings
