Google web master tool is a generating a code which that helpful for improve to ranking in Google search engine.
Once you will submit your site to google webmaster tool, it will show a detail map of site.. who are your visitors,where they came and other imp[ortant data.. it also validates your site submission to google and report if there will be any problem while crawling your site index or keyword.
by submitting you sitemap, you can let google know about any changes/ additions you make to your site. the file lists all pages you want to be crawled by Google and Google, in trun, lists all crawl results - whether they were successful or what kind of errors Google found.
Okay interesting question Sitemaps are really good as they tell google and other search engines the structure of the site before the engine goes to crawl and find out. This speeds the site crawl, I am not sure whether google uses this basis to identify the site load times on the website so don't quote me on that. The first thing most engines do is check for the robot.txt file, in this file you can add a line to tell the spider where the sitemap is and in my experiance this is good practice. In a recent conference google did mention that load times on sites have a huge impact on positioning. Remember the ultimate goal for search engines is to ensure that they bring the best results to the web visitor based on the keywords and as fast as possible. I could understand abt webmaster tool. One more Q: Can we find the traffic and visitors through webmaster tool..? if yes means please tell me how to find..from google web mastertool dashboard which option have to visit to see my visitors and traffic...
you cannot find traffic through google webmaster tool, for that you need to go google analytics where you can get detailed information of visitors.......
The webmaster tools helped me to find some problems with some pages of my websites. without this, I could have ranked lower or not at all. It helps you to make your websites more search engine friendly. It also gives you some information about your site structure and who is linking to you.
