IMHO I say you should focus on one account per campaign, you should also interact with your followers and they'll interact (retweet) your post. No need for multiple accounts, focus on one and you'll go much much farther.
I have one twitter account for every business/website I use, and I do my best to update them daily. The key is getting thousands of followers which is easier said then done.

Also remember to make twitter accounts in different niches. Don't keep all your eggs in the same basket.
