Best software for image galleries

    Hi all,

    What do you consider to be the best free software for creating image galleries in a non-flash website?

    I'm currently using lightbox but have hit some problems with it and need different software ASAP.

    Would be grateful for any replies.

    lightbox 2 is out and it is the best non flash gallery around, its extremely easy to implement

    Many thanks zartworkdesigns - I've tried lightbox but if I load it in the head section it gives me an "operation aborted" error message in ie6 (it tries to load the script before the page has finished loading); if I try to correct this by putting the code calling the script at the bottom of the page then lightbox doesn't work until the full page has loaded and if anyone clicks an image during this time then it gives me a blank screen with an image int he top-left - not very professional!!!!!
