    i just want to figure out which site is ranking at no.1 when it comes to higher visitors is it digg, delicious, stumbleupon twitter or what???

    Traffic from Digg is only temporary. Unless you end up on the front page of Digg a few times not many diggers will come back.

    Digg is pretty good. I find myself visiting it daily. Another site like it would be reddit.com but yes they have their downfalls. The main one being it is for a very very short time frame.

    It depends on the subject. The traffic from them are all different too. Most social traffic does not convert well.

    Digg has ~39mlns visitors per month for june and growth rate +62% yearly change, and twitter has ~ 23mlns visitors/mo but growth rate + 1164%. Facebook goes to 123mlns that close to yahoo.com and google.com.

    stumble can be used effectively across all social media sites since they offer the shout outs, which they call conversations through sharing. this can be valuable by asking folks to reddit, digg, and stumble all at once if you put the correct widgets in place.
