Wordpress is amazing for SEO

I have a simple page that I turned into a wordpress blog for 3 or 4 months now. I didnt do any seo work yet, just added a seo plugin. I dont really have time to really work on it yet, I write a post maybe once a week.

Somehow, I noticed that my page is ranked very well for some competitive keywords. I dont know if this is normal or just that wordpress is really SEO-friendly?

Theses are my keywords

1 - unknown error occurred (10) 2nd on 3,460,000
2 - iphone error 23 11st on 18,000,000
3 - iphone error 10 21st on 48,500,000
4 - iphone could not restored 9th on 626,000
5 - iphone not restore 2nd on 627,000
6 - project natal fake 5th on 360,000

I dont have a big knowledge regarding SEO... but I think this is really impressive... but then again maybe it is normal for you guys

its hard to quantify as some keywords are more difficult than others...

but of course, if you are indexed, and showing up - that is always a good thing

I am using the All in One SEO plugin. However, it is difficult for me to judge whether it really helps in improving search engine ranking.

 

well it happens when google thinks your content is more rich than other blogs.. there is a chance that it gets you on top over the others.. and yes wordpress is best with SEO. it has lots of SEO plugins that really helps.

 

Wordpress always help in SEO. But sometimes new sites or blogs rank high on major keywords for sometime. Then they lose their rankings. I suggest you to continue work on it and keep adding more content.

 

I agree with others opinion. Wordpress has the best plug-ins compare to other blogging platform. All in One SEO plugin is the best one I found. Just continue building a valuable and quality content and everything will be on the right track.

There are several key plugins for wordpress that will really help your WSO efforts, are you just using one or multiple SEO plugins?

 

In my own experience Wordpress is better for SEO than Joomla, it depends (of course) how do yo use it.

A must have plugin is All in One seo, you can add titles, description and tags to your posts.

Wordpress makes the SEO work more easiler and quicker also. We have more time to work on the site.

 

I am using the All in One SEO plugin right now...I am thinking to add more plugins eventually

 

I am also thinking to make an ecommerce website base on wordpress... I think I will get more visit than my oscommerce site with all those SEO addons combined....

Yes its true that WP gives more SEO benefit than any CMS there is out there. Good job with the site.

 

I think people are getting a little too excited about the plugins and Wordpress.

Yes the SEO plugin is helpful in allowing you to put in the appropriate meta and description into the post. However as most SEO professionals (not me by the way) will state the meta tag is not worth too much.

Where the All In One SEO plugin does help is putting a neat useful description in. This is worth it for that. Add a readable permalink and you are in good stating position for on page SEO.

However it still all goes back to good solid content within the post that is on topic and meets the search needs.

The original poster showed their ranking for specific terms but what does the Keywords stats sya the search volume is for those two terms.

Bottom Line - Plugins good for making day to day tasks easy - the hard work is in the post / page

Wordpress is, in fact, very helpful in SEO. The way the posts are structured is very search engine friendly.

Congratulations on your rankings! If you're ranking for your keywords, you're in a great spot. It is best to optimize though, because as was mentioned, rankings aren't a given-right. They can thrill you one day and devastate the next. So in order to keep ranking, as more competition arises, continue using your plugin and experiment with other SEO plugins that interest you and come highly recommended.
