    A few days ago i added all the code to my forum
    then had it validated and set up a graphics banner and text banner - both enabled

    i currently have a weight of 1888

    but no referals or consolidation

    What happens next?
    How do i know my banners are being shown on the network?

    Just forget it's there for now and continue working/building your site as normal. Don't worry about the consolidation and referrals, just watch for any new links to your site through the SEs, that's the important part.

    Could take a little while with a fairly low weight so have a little patience and in a month or so you'll notice your backlinks up... :)

    why is the weight low

    is this something to do with the fact that i use www.skooldays.com as the main site, but most my forum pages are on www.skool-days.co.uk

    Yes. It will only look for pages on your base URL.

    You can sign up a 2nd account with the co.uk domain to get more weight.

    My weight was actually less than 1000 when I first started (about 2 months ago). Now it is close to 4,000 (which still isn't that much but 4x in 2 months is pretty nice still :).....I have noticed about 2500 new backlinks in MSN, 300+ new ones for GG, and over 3k for Y! :D Just keep adding content!

    is it only bloggs and vbulletin forums that work?
    i have many sites with hits but wonder can it be used with standard HTML?

    currently im using VB 3 on http://www.skool-days.co.uk/forums/index.php?
