Can anyone help me to get higher traffic

Hello Friends,

Can anyone suggest me, how should I get higher traffic on my website designing & Development related website?

I am already working on Directory & Article submissions, Social Bookmarkings and Search Engines Submission.

Do anybody have more useful way to get higher traffic on my website???

It is quite hard to tell without seeing your website. Are you using profitable keywords correctly throughout your website?

Are you using anchor links in your internal linking systems?

Do you use text and not images?

Are you using header tags, alt tags, etc?

Just that if you have all the onpage seo done correctly then building links from directories, articles etc will help you more than if you have no onpage seo done.

 

That is a tough niche and will take a lot of work and some time to rank well.
As mentioned on site SEO is very important. Then the gathering of back links.
There should be no need for search engine submissions. If you are doing all of the other that you mentioned the searches will pick you up.
You should have your URL in your posts here also.

Perhaps you can have a contest and give away some free designs. This may act as a link bait and get people to link to you.

I respectfully disagree 100%, I actually think that is the WORST thing you can do.

 

first of all you have to make good quality and unique content and promote you site on high rank sites of press release, forum, article, bookmarking, blogging and you can also give do follow comment to blog from these sources you get more traffic for your site.

 

Do blog commenting and forums also. It will drive more traffic to your site.

 

I also want to know these answer, please....my website is low traffic.

Participate in relevant social networking sites. If don't you have a Twitter account yet, then make one. It's a good way to get targeted traffic. You should also post comments in Yahoo Answers, Wikianswers, Yedda and other similar Q&A sites.

 

social bookmarking is very useful for get good traffic. and press release and article submissions also help you to get good traffic. and use proper anchor text when u are doing submission in directory submission, press release, article submission, social bookmarking.

 

All said and done, you will still need to study and follow google's webmaster guidelines. It's exhaustive but really a wealth for webmasters.

Since we're talking about "website designing & Development" niche , as another member said in a previous post , we're talking about some tough competitors and it requiers beside the usual methods ( on site optimization, common linkbuilding - social bookmarking, articles and so on ) , I believe you should develop some quality links through some link-bait videos and some very good and free templates and scripts.

Besides all of that , you should try to focus , at least at the beginning on niches of that niche . If you are an expert on that field , segment it and try to localize some high demand / low offer niches . It's alot of work just doing that , but this is the best way to start in such a competitive domain, and later you can always diversify your activity, but always remember (most people don't and that's a fatal mistake) : " A thousand mile journey begins with one step " .
