Depends what you are using it for. If its a spammy site where you want to fill thousands of pages then its probably OK to use. On the other hand if you want to make a useful site its better to write original stuff.

This is the best you can do.Give credit to wikipedia by linking back to them stating that you're articles are from wikipedia.
I saw a site that uses wikipedia content when you search for a certain topics it will reveal a wikipedia content. So I dont think there is no problem using the content of wikipedia.

While you "can" technically, I would create original content...if you do, it would be uncool to do it without a link and some credit.

this should not be a problem since wikepedia is open source, just give the proper credits. The issue is how much you can use on your page so that google will not penalize you for dup content. If you're just using parts of a wiki to beef up your page and not exceed a certain % (say 10%, my opinion), you should be ok.

You could also take part of an article, or the whole thing, and add a seperate intro and conclusion.

You can use Wikipedia, but use it wisely. Don't overuse it. And please remember to gives credit to them for using their content.
