Adsense Earnings Very low

Hi Guys I have a wallpapers site www.wallpapershut.com
I am getting very low earnings from it about 2$ per day from 1000 visitors.
Please help me how I can get more traffic and more earnings from adsense.
I don't know how to make good SEO.
Please help me

Your ads placements are good enough for better CTR.
I think Wallpaper niche is a pretty low paying niche, the only thing you could do is to work on more traffic, and that includes adding more wallpapers with optimized wallpapers titles for seo.

 

Yours site is good but should add more categories on the site.

 

It is harder for wallpaper sites because people are there for the wallpapers only.
You could try changing your template. I know you are probably happy with the one you have now but I have had success from changing templates one where I could put different Adsense placements. You should experiment anyway. Hope to help!

Wallpaper sites sucks for adsense..........try site from different niche

 

Promote Promote Promote but don't spam.
Build up backlinks.
Submit your site to Link Directories.
Submit articles and press releases to article directories.
Post comments on similar wallpaper related blogs etc.
Create a splash page and use that with traffic exchanges that link to the site
(Do NOT use traffic exchanges directly on your site with Adsense) = Banned.
Search on here for how to get traffic.

your site is pretty good.but you must update it on daily basis with latest wallpapers....
One thing to tell you that wallpaper niche is very low paying niche...

I agree that wallpaper niche is very low paying. I have a freebies site, which is also low paying, and a large free wallpapers section. the point is people are looking for freestuff so they are less valuable visitors for advertisers

 

I am positive that this is a bad niche.

The other reason I am guessing that your visitors from outside of USA. Visitors from other country do nor generate good money with Adsense.

I disagree with peoples who saying that wallpaper is bad niche. I think it's quite promising like another niche. There's nothing wrong with your blog. Why don't you use another monetizing methods like CPM, etc. I think that can be a good way to make money with your blog, just like google adsense.

Only advise I've got for you is to get out of the WallPaper niche as soon as possible if you want to earn big $$$.

 

I think 2$ per 1k visitors is decent.

If i'd get 2$ per 1k visitors, i'd be really happy, but am making more like 0.20$ per 1k visitors.

ie. one month, 700k ad impressions, about 100k uniques by analytics and i made a whopping 24$. No matter how much i tried to optimize placing, CTR never got very high, best has been 0.56%, and more usually is 0.06-0.15%.

Keyword selections helped only TEMPORARILY (with best per click averages being ~0.5$) before dropping back to 1-3 cents per click.

I got a variety of different sites, and sources of traffic, and when buying sites, i usually end up getting 10-25% of what the previous owner had, so i feel kinda that my AdSense account is tainted, as it happens again and again. and even dropping chinese etc. countries out didn't help at all.

 

As others have said, it seems like your site's topic is the biggest driver of low revenu.
