I don't either but I wouldn't mind it. I had the flu last week, probably the regular one.. I'd expect more from the Swine Flu.
Out of 100,000 people infected... 29 died? Isn't that like... less than the normal flu? And yet they want mandatory vaccinations? What are they putting in the vaccines - brain-numbing drugs?
Watch out for the side effects. I read somewhere that people got suicidal after taking Tamiflu. To me the Swine Flu looks like a nice viral business plan for Tamiflu. link to a site with tamiflu's risks
The proper flu is much worse. The media just likes to jump on a bandwagon. It wont kill unless you already have medical problems.
The virus is not new, and neither is the "scare" The virus does not warrant a level 6 It is milder than normal flu. Two conspiracy theories 1. It was released to boost a failing drugs manufacturer 2. My favourite. The Swine flue was deliberatly released to cripple Mexico. Mother nature damped the virus down into a less virulent strain, much to the annoyance of Blackwater. The crippling of Mexico was meant to get the US Dollar and the Mexican Peso into one currency since the dollar is falling in value quicker than an lead zepplin.
100,000 new cases in the past week is quite worrying. Just hope it doesn't mutate fella. Around 30 people have died in the UK, but 2/3 of these people were extremely ill, i.e. had cancer. I think if you're very young or very old then again the risk will be slighty higher. Even the NHS have said that Tamiflu has been extremely effective when used at an early stage. Relenza is another one. I was blogging about this a few days ago. I think the more Vitamin C and Vitamin D that you intake - the more you will improve your immune system to fight off such viruses.
I had "the flu" about 4-5 weeks ago, I'm only just recovering from it now. I didn't bother going to the doctor, so I don't know what strain it was. And I don't really care.
