Whats the difference between these four?

    I'm new to this hosting world. I've bought a website form someone and he is giving me domain name and the website content. He will send me the files via email and I will have to upload it. It's about recipes. I was searching around and came to know these four terms as long as webhosting is concern. Anyone of you pls differentiate these four hosting:

    1. Linux Hosing
    2. Windows Hositng
    3. Offhshore Linux Hosting
    4. Reseller Offshore Hosting.

    Could anyone of you tell me which hosting is good.

    If yes can you pls recommend any hosting service provider?

    3. Offshore Linux Hosting - The host is hosted offshore , term mainly used if the hosting is not in the USA
    4. Reseller Offshore Hosting - As mentioned above regarding offshore hosting, Reseller means that with the hosting that u have purchased, you can resell it to others.

    If your site is about recipes you dont need offshore hosting. Offshore hosting is used alot for illegal stuff.

    Try onshore. Its fast, secure and more cheaper than offshore.

    Yeah. Onshore Linux hosting is your best bet. Any offshore hosting is illegal items. Warez, pirated items, and what not.

    Cheapest for a good 20 GB of disk space would be $1.99 a month, or $3.99 a month for unlimited, JoltHost.com = good choice for it. (Linux Onshore Hosting)
