Chaging DMOZ listing after being listed

Hi

My blog as listed in DMOZ a few months ago, however the focus of my site has chnaged slightly.

It used to be a science blog, now the focus is more on health and medicine.

I want to therefore change the listing, but I was wondering if i ask for this, could i potentially be thrown out of the directory?

 

Anyone is welcome to point out necessary changes to listed sites, whether their own or not. There is an Update URL link in every category, and once the form is submitted, it is up to an editor to consider whether or not the request is valid. If so, the changes will be made, whether this means updating the URL, changing the category, rewriting the title or whatever.

Please resist the temptation to request hype or additional keywords, as this is likely to result in the request being rejected. But all valid requests are attended to as a matter of priority.

 

How do i change the category do I have to leave a note in the additional notes section for the editor?

 

You are welcome to suggest an alternative category in the "reason" section, yes.

 

TRy contacting the Cat Editor.

 

Please don't waste time trying to contact a specific editor, because
1. There may be no listed editor for the category.
2. Editors are strongly advised not to respond to individual requests, for long-established reasons.
3. Even if there is a listed editor, they may be currently inactive.
4. There is already a good system, as described above.
