    If you are referring to Adsense then you need to optimize your ads for maximum exposure to ensure good number of clicks.

    I think you really need to asses the traffic you are getting now in comparison with Adsense CTR (which is normally 1-10%), so suppose if you have traffic of 100 users per day and CTR 1% then average clicks would be 1

    Apart from that most important thing is to know user comes to your site with what mentality, is it just to read some simple tips and move away, in that case getting a click can be hard

    It would be useful to know what the OP means exactly. I suspect it's with reference to AdSense, but it could be he's promoting an affiliate scheme or something else.
