Every day, I see posts that start with something like "I need to make $50 TODAY!" or "I'm desperate - help me earn $100 in the next week!" Some posters respond with what I consider wastes of server space and bandwidth, but the useful answers are usually the same - write some articles, design some templates, compete in a few contests. Unfortunately, I have no ideas for you - that's not the point. There are plenty of resources on this forum to help you make money. A lot of the resources are written by forum leaders who have a great deal of experience behind them. I suffer from something the "gurus" call analysis paralysis - I overanalyze, overthink, and take too little action. While I don't subscribe to most so-called gurus philosophies, I do believe there's a difference between being cautious and being insane. Yup, I said insane - "taking the same actions but expecting different results". The title of this, "You'll NEVER be the next Warren Buffet", is so important. In case you hadn't guessed, Buffett didn't start out as a billionaire stock mogul. No, despite apparently popular belief, his parents didn't nickname him the "Oracle of Omaha". You need to make $50, but why? What caused you to get to this point? Probably a lack of action. If you had taken the steps a week ago, you might have a solid foundation to squeeze $50 out of. Warren Buffett certainly didn't say to himself at 15 "today, I'll become a billionaire". Instead, he laid the foundation of action necessary to reap future results. What are you doing to take action today? Are you changing your future? I told a little lie at the beginning - you could be the next Buffett, but only if you stop talking and start acting.
Warren Buffett. Wikipedia is your friend, my friend. Bill Gates - is that a better example? There is an "Edit" Button I could use.
You wanna know who is he? HEre's a single taste.. Warren Edward Buffett is a U.S. investor, businessman, and philanthropist. He is one of the most successful investors in history, the largest shareholder and C.E.O. of Berkshire Hathaway,[4] and is currently ranked by Forbes as the second richest person in the world with an estimated net worth of approximately $37 billion.[5] -- by wikipedia ---
Every of us may be a Warren or Bill gates. just point to our goal and focus. Be a great passion and consistent with action....
You raised very good point but unfortunately people here are more interested in "Who is Warren Buffet Mystery" than getting the point you want to deliver. At last I would say "Be a Doer not Talker"
Some good points. Research will help learn, but carrying out actions will deliver the goods. Spend your time wisely & work hard.
Yeah no action = no results. It's usually not until we are pushed to the edge and are extremely desperate that we actually sit down and work. By this time of course we have lost more than just money and time.
not a bad thread actually. i have recently realised the need to place foundations and invest in the future instead of wanting everything immediately. it's hard to do but i hope it will be worth it!
Warren buffet built businesses, bought established companies, not made pennies on affiliate links. his name does not even belong here.
Everyone has to start somewhere. I started off with pennies from PTC programs. A waste of time, but I've learnt a lot more since then.
