I am looking to put together a photo gallery of my best work for my website. I want to do a little freelance photography to go with the web & Graphic design. I have picked the best photos I have taken and stuck them up here. http://www.flickr.com/photos/81695886@N00/ Which ones do you think I should keep, which ones dump. Is the Crazy scot dog to random? Is Sue Cute Enough all feedback appreciated.
darksat, they are all good. Keep them all. You must be very talented. What camera did you use for these shots?
Clapham Junction - the sky in background rules Queenstown Mountains - the pinkish tone is nice Also I would suggest that you join flickr groups for more feedback on your pictures. Cheers!
The ones in New Zealand were on a Disposable. The rest are split between my sony ericon camera phone and my Nikon F55 Camera. Most taken from my phone. I have about 30 rolls of film still to get developed for my camera so I am sure I will have some new ones up soon.
They're all good, especially considering some of them are phone shots, and they all have their own merits - there's a landscape/cityscape theme that's common there - do you want to focus on that side in order to specialise, or strengthen the other areas to be an all-rounder? I actually really like the Scot & Dog photo, I've started to sway from landscape & still life toward portraiture recently after a NZ friend inspired me with her street photos. And going digital is a really important step too
I want to be a good all-rounder but want to do Model, Nude, Glamour, Fetish. You see where this is going. I also want to be able to make an income from photography while I travel the world. Any ones I should take out?
Nice work darksat. You've got a real talent there. =) My personal favorites are "Oysterly Park" and "Angel in Angel." AMAZING use of lighting there.
First, Nice work. The only thing is they are all scenery except those two shots w/ people... Maybe two galleries are needed one of scenery and the other of people/animals/etc... Then your work seems more uniform.
