Update your blog regularly with fresh content, do blog commenting on similar blogs, include it in forum signatures, submit it to social bookmarking sites. Add some interesting plugins, etc.
Digg is wonderful for blogs. Submit every new blog entry and you will see quite the increate in traffic related to that niche. Plus, you can see a nice spike in AdSense earnings.
Build more links? But I am afraid of being banned by blog. I didn't use Digg. Is it really so wonderful?

Did you just... copy and paste my exact words... even spelling "increase" wrong? Post count boosting... how sad. Reported.
It is all about content, content, content!!!! Here are some useful tidbits: 1) Create high-value content for your niche (and SEO friendly!). 2) Make sure your content satisfies my target audiences' interest 3) Keep the content relevant and fresh. 4) Keep your well maintained meaning up to date and relevant. Try adding an RSS Feeder as well to get subscribers. As well, submit your blog to a directory to help generate more traffic. Hope this is helpful! Best of Luck!
Honestly I get interested in reading people blogs because of their content. So, I think updating blog frequently can attract people to your blog and build more readers ..

You've asked a question which has a huge answer to be quite honest, there are loads of different ways to generate traffic to your blog, but the best I have found, is by SEO, the days where I can't be bothered to build more links, post on Twitter, write new articles, I still get some good traffic from Google, Bing etc, not for the best keywords, nor 3483943 unique s a hour from it, but it's low traffic which is automated. Obviously SEO should be your main concern, you can also get some great targeted traffic from Twitter if you understand how to market on Twitter, I suggest you build link wheels personally, mainly because it builds your back links, it improves your SEO and it also improves your traffic! Although it can be quite boring, it's well worth it if your ranking for low-keywords.
I agree with others above: in order of priority: 1) post quality unique SEO friendly content (regularly) 2) SEO! 3) build a community around you - Twitter, Facebook, etc 4) build yourself as an expert in the field and draw people from your network
