Ok i am addicted to mybb who is vbulletins little brother , i would like to buy vbulletin but i think it`s a little expensive but i think it`s the best forum script ever programed .
Depends on what you're using it for, what your level of expertise is, if you;re wrapping it around or within another site or software, etc. Depends on a lot of things. There's no one perfect forum software.
PHPBB is decent. If possible I would go with vbulletin but definitely a little pricey for non-business usage.
No, I was just saying my opinion about forums as thread subject, but I think you said your useless comment above, which has nothing to do with thread subject, just to post count padding purpose. EDIT: When I checked your join date is June 2009 and you have more than 600 posts in this short time, now I am pretty sure why you posted that comment!
i prefer phpbb , have tried the others but i dont think the support and the wide number of themes and mods available of theres is as good as phpbb ( just my personal opinion)
I am grateful if someone can provide me the vBulletin db structure (empty database) I really need it. Please please please help help help. I highly appreciate it. even in PM is fine.
I like vbulletins best. But last year I haven't go enough money to buy license and say bye bye to it. Now i'm using Simple Machine and PHPBB. They're good
I recommened MyBB! its great! like Vbullitin but free! its better than phpbb3 anyday! heres my MyBB forum. ubo-network.com/forums/
I use vbulletin but am looking at using mybb for another forum i want to start - one thing i really need is support for stopforumspam.com - very useful - stops 99% of forum spam they have the mybb mod here: http://mods.mybboard.net/view/stop-forum-spam I would install this today to stop spammers/scammers - its free.
phpBB is a very good free forum script. It has new version 3.0.5 is out. you may wanna use phpBB SEO URL mods, and your forum will have search engine friendly pages as well. There are lot of free forum themes available as well for phpBB Script.
Hmm I used to use phpBB, it's good. I even had an announcement system using one of the phpBB mods provided in their support. =]
