Hey fellow Proxy webmasters.

My topsite http://Proxys.in is doing awesome. Pr2 200k Alexa and whole lotta traffic.

And its on page 1 for the term "proxys" on google.

In proxy traffic never always mean $$$ . So if you are not earning then traffic is pretty useless IMO

 

I know there are so many who are needing
proxy sites..
If we have no other choice then we ask proxy sites' help

 

IMO the proxy business is going down and down and I think it has gone worst now

I'm getting 0.10 eCPM from proxies since past few days

adsense earnings have dropped down to $1-$2/day

or might be my proxies got smart priced

 

Ya I am getting about 1-5 cents per click do you think it would be worthwhile to go to a different advertiser on my main page? Is anything better than adsense? What would you use? bidvertiser, adbrite, adversal?

 

I only have 2 proxy sites although i do have adbrite ads on the sites the main reason i have them is to promote my File Hosting site,the revenue is small and does not cover the costs of the hosting as some days the bandwidth has been over 3 gig but the extra exposure to a few of my other main sites is well worth it.

 

Indeed I think proxy websites are good for promotion for other websites that you own thought it should be a game site or a social related website. Its hard to earn back proxy hosting etc..In this time of the year.

 

Are proxy sites still going strong guys? I wouldn't mind getting one up but would like to know if peopole are still making good money?

Good luck on the sale. The UK summer holidays last for Six Weeks so I was thinking about setting up 3 weeks before they go back so I could get everything up, set up ad networks etc and get some promotion out so I could cash in.

 

Gday everyone after reading through a small fraction of this fantastic resource I've decided to give the proxy biz a crack. I will try not to ask too many questions that have already been asked but just one for any experienced proxy owners is how important do you believe the domain is for your proxy? And what about using random 4 letter combos to avoid been automatically blocked for words like "proxy" in the domain. Cheers.

 

domain really plays a role as people will typin and come to your proxy

now some tlds have promos like .in , .im so u can pick up memorable names instead of some junk names and try

 

But visitor keen on visiting .com site much more than other domain extension.
Some more the promo is price is valid for 1 years only for example .im.
The second years price is much more higher than .com

 

normally proxies will be sold within 2-3 months so thats not a problem

Take it seriously - you are obviously violating copyright, and Facebook doesn't exactly like Proxies.
