Do you know if you build the link at such pace like submitting yourself to 9000 pligg sites in a very short interval of time ... you can get banned by google uncle ... as the big daddy will consider it a spam effort ...

If that's the case, then you could just auto submit your competitors and have them banned...with these autopligg programs, your link usually ends up as a nofollow or deleted anyways...it only becomes dofollow when the editor approves it...which is rare when they are getting bombarded by spam.

I do not like using pligg sites because they usually end up full of spam. I used to run a site and use pligg. I spent a lot of time trying to fight spam. Basically, you do get a lot of spam and I am sure that such sites can really hurt SEO efforts.

I don't think any link will have any negative impact on the SEO of a site cause' that'd be a big loophole to be exploited. For example, you can vote down your competitor's site from the search engine rankings by submiting their links to tens of thousands of spammy sites.

Would that work? Of course not. So any link gives zero or positive link juice.

As I was looking for a good, quality list of pligg sites I came across of this post a few weeks ago. Having randomly clicked on some sites realized that the majority of the sites was a parked domain, so I took my time and analyzed this list. All in all if someone posts a huge list, many folks are instantly grateful including the believe that the list really contains 9000 items (in fact it was never more than approx. 1700 sites). More conclusions can be found here:
