Google Analytics - How does it helps

i would like to know how to use it. And in what aspect it will help the webmasters. Will it help in increasing the PR and increase the rank in google search.

It tell you where your visitor from, how they able to et you, using which search engine and etc...That is Google Analytics.

 

Knowing where your visitors are coming, checking traffics - These are only basic things that Google analytics can do. Most users does not know that with proper data analysis, you can change the way how you market online, gives you insights when and where to push your marketing strategy. Analytics also tells you which online tactics would be working best for you.

 

Analytics can be used to check traffic sources, and other stats about your site. It doesn't help with PR or serps.

I use Google Analytics to increase my Search engine rankings, like if one particular post ranks 12th, I do a lot of SEO on that post to make it to the first page, increasing traffic to my site further. It's a good tool for affiliate programs or adsense.

GA will not increase your ranking and PR but I have been using GA to increase my website revenue by knowing my top exit pages and referral sites.

i like the bounce rate stat which tells you if you're content is worth staying to read or if they find it boring and leave.

 

Correct, GA is a great tools to use in IM field.

 

Google Analytics can Track your sites it's shows your sites visits, Bounce Rate, Unique visitor, Map Overly etc etc so many things. it's very useful.

 

Google Analytics is also very good for tracking the results of your advertising and marketing campaigns. Lets say that you bought ads on 2 sites - site A and site B. If traffic from site A has a 75% bounce rate, and traffic from site B has a 20% bounce rate. You know that you need to target site B because the traffic is more targeted.

Lets say you opened a couple of portals to your site. One portal has a 50% bounce rate, the other portal has a 25% bounce rate. You can look at the two sites and work on improving the bounce rate using the other one as an example.

I use Google Analytics for all kinds of stuff, such as tracking the traffic from my youtube referrals. When I change my videos up, I watch the traffic to see if it goes up or down. That gives me an idea of what works and what does not work.

Recently tested, it is good tools. Also tested the bit.ly. It sound good to me as well. It 's able to let you know the statistics too.

GA gives useful insights about your website traffic, it can help to increase your visitors and conversion, but there isn't any direct relationship with PR and Ranking here.

 

Google analytic is just a tracking software it will no help you in growing rank & more traffic..
