    Hi

Completely new to blogging but want to start an additional area to our website where we can post articles etc.

We have a unique service concept (aMillionJobsToDo) and have had some very bizzare task requests as a result, that could make for quite amusing reading! We also have many other ideas that we think we could blog about.

We were originally considering perhaps just adding an additional page on the site but have since read that you can create a blog and host it as part of your website, through our own FTP.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this. I would prefer that what ever we created looked very similar to the website and did not lead off to somewhere else!

Not looked at wordpress or anything yet so would be grateful for any suggestions??

    Thanks in advance

    Welcome to blogging!

You can start a blog on your website as a sub-domain or folder and then start putting different articles over there. For the same look and feel, you will have to get a template similar to your current website and then upload that theme over your blogging platform say Wordpress.

You are done, All the best.

Just go with wordpress and install it on your subfolder like yourdomain.com/blog. Start adding your ideas in your blog thats all.

As don said, you can use wordpress on the subdomain like www. domain. com/blog which looks more professional. Its simple and one click away if your host has the one click install capability.
