Is it blackhat seo technique?

    Hi,

I observed that one signle entity posted a desktop software at multiple file download website, naming the software as competitive keyword, _for example_ the peson named his/her software as "michael jackson tool".

What blind google is done, it indexed those pages, and whenever people enter that competitive keyword, pages upto 10th and 15th are filled with junk.

I do not see whats the benefit of posting those junk.

The only thing that seems logical is that, someone over top ranking, dont want new competitors come up on good ranks in search result, the easy way, right?

    Regards,

What a waste of energy & time. Pitty souls, if invest their time in constructive tactics, will get long term fruits :)

I dont think google will index those download pages for life, someday those bubble will burst.

Yesterday, i saw google cleaning that mess, but it appeared as if google was testing its recent indexes, because today, its filled with same old junk, though the SERPs of those junk decreases to some extent.

So, I hope SERPs will clean in a month or two, but hand in hand, I do trust over that stinky soul, he/she will make it nasty again with some later version

Any techniques to lift a non relevant page in Search Result is black hat. We can really understand the feelings when some one is desperately searching for some data and he is getting full of junks :(

Many so-called SEO experts do tricky tactics like that to dominate the search results for a "hot" or popular keyword. But I think Google has its way to filter out which of these pages are junk. Let's leave it to Google.

Yes, it is a black hat seo technique. But problem is we can do nothing about it except Google.
