Which SEO techniques you are using and which is most successful, here what I do.

Paid Directories
Free Directories
Forums
Blog posting
Press releases
Social marketing
Articles Submissions
Tags Book Marking

And tell from these which are useless!! and what should be the thing where I focus

 

I use all of them except paid Directories for promoting our site , i suggest you follow Google guideline and do every thing, don't go against Google Godliness!!!

 

Need to use each and every possible measure and seo technique to gain the higher ranking and traffic..

 

All are useful. There is no useless.

 

I use not a one of those with any regularity. I will usually submit a site to the major Directories and then get on with techniques that work...

 

You can promote your site just using Articles.

 

On page optimisation, posting on blogs comments, links in signature, free directories, articles etc. But i think the best results come with on page SEO.

 

these are the major techniques most SEO masters use. along with that buying blogroll link can help.

I think that you should not submit in paid directory, there are many option to submit your site in free as directory , article, blog , blog promotion. Social book marking is a good technique in SEO but you should not ignore on page SEO. Classifies is also best way for get traffic on your site.

 

Basically Off Page supports on page. So its better to keep focus on off page optimization and create more back links

I beg to disagree. There ARE useless link sources like FFA sites.

 

The first and foremost thing is to optimize your website. All other things you have mentioned works only if your website is perfect, too much flash and images wont help much.
