The marks showing up on the face somehow also affects the emotional and social behavior of a person. There are so many disadvantages when one has Acne. There can be so many effects that can lead to other graver effects. This somewhat simple form of skin disease can really have a complicated effect on a person. When one has Acne, there are so many possibilities that can hinder or degrade a person's self-confidence. Though it is purely a physical disease, the mental, emotional, and social effects of this disease can be countless depending on the situation of that specific person. Arguably, nobody wants to have Acne all over his or her face. Acquiring Acne can be linked to various reasons or factors. It can be accounted for as a Genetic factor. It can be said that Acne runs in the family. Most of the time, Acne is at peak to a person's condition when he or she is in the teenager stage. Acne becomes more active during the hormonal stages of activities for example, during puberty or menstrual cycles. People with severe cases of Acne, or commonly known as pimples, zits, or spots, more often than not are the most affected with regards to their self-esteem. The emotional disadvantage of having Acne reflects in a person who refuses to go out and prefer staying at home in order to hide these negative skin infractions. In effect, social interaction might be lessened due to Acne's effects.
