Indexed pages- huge leap- is it a glitch?!

    I just checked my indexed pages for Yahoo and got a bit of a surprise! Always been around 25000 - 35000, but it is showing 110,000 :eek: BUT still only getting a handful of clicks........ don't know when this happened or if it is just a glitch?!? Any one else seen a leap?

    I actaully lost pages. How long did you say it was since you last checked? Thats a HUGE leap and if it happened over night I wouldnt think too much of it for now, because it may drop the pages.

    It must be 2-3 weeks since I last checked- I'm sure it will drop and I've just happened to look at the 'wrong' time, I can't see how it can have found so many permutations of our site when there ae only about 1500 or so pages on there.....

    yeah... lately I also noticed that kewords stuffed cookie-cutter websites are ranking higher in Yahoo and MSN

    Mine too. After initially has about 400, my websites indexed pages has only around 10 for the past few weeks. Then yesterday I check, it was 400+.

    Just like when the indexed pages disappear, now the traffic doesn't change much as well.

    I just noticed a big jump in Yahoo pages indexed. From a measley 51 to 500+, and my click rate increased from Yahoo.

    Trying to determine what good thing happened.
