How Long Does It Take To Drive Daily Traffic?

I had a recent thought. I noticed posts on how to drive traffic but I was curious how long it takes to have regular traffic, let's say 50 a day? What about 200 a day? What about 1000 a day?

Once I know on average how long it takes, that can give me realistic goals to set and accomplish. Thanks for all your feedback.

Through what method?

It really depends on the method. If your talking about search engine hits, then I would say you need to pick a keyword or two, evaluate the competition, maybe make some related sites and web2.0 properties, then start building links and good, original content.

 

Have you some specific methods like forums, articles, SEO in your mind? Tell them here, others will explain their experiences about them.

 

It depends on what strategies you are currently doing. Steady traffic takes time. You need to find out which method works for you and that means trial and error.

 

traffic generation takes more time sometimes.speed of internet access is main thing

 

this is what i did and still trying ...
I get my self a Geo+Keyword domain (unfortunately com n net sold) on 12/5/09.
start installing blog.
start insert content (8000 post/classifieds til today)
Start simple link build. (sorry i'm lazy, i build thru script) digiXmas free version, social bookmark front page.
it take a month to reach 50 daily visitor.
Then it stay there till now. (lowest 53 on 15/6/09, higher 210 uv 7/7/09, today app 70uv)
BTW the keyword i target is out of 100 but a lot unexpected keyword given by google that stay in top ten.
My conclusion is build more content, it help
all 80% traffic from SE

 

I have actually got some nice traffic from forums and directories etc.

 

I have preferred going the way of quality SE optimized content.

 

It can be 50, it can be 500, it happens the very same day.

 

Depend on how good your SEO and marketing, some people can make thousands traffic per day within a week

 

if you have quality content that reader might bookmark your site then its a higher chance that user will come back another day or two

1 of the most important thing in SEO is "listen to your viewers"

 

You have good SEO, quality backlink and contents, how much your content? how about your content quality? All of its will impact your traffic. According to me, the first jobs that you must to do is SEO on Page and then you can do SEO off Page (Backlink).

 

Well, it depends on your content. If you have a very interesting topics for specific users and they get interested in surely they will come back to check out another great stuff that your site offers. Make sure to update it regularly.

 

I would have to say that good seo on page with a correctly planned submissions in article marketing is how I drive most of my traffic.

Using this might take some extra time for higher traffic counts, but it always yields me higher traffic over a longer time with less work in the long run. But that is my strong point.

 

You need to get other sites to you and give them quality relevant content when they get there.

Honestly, its tough to start from scratch. This really doesnt have to do with traffic generation, but build that email list. It's basically instant traffic whenever you post on your blog or want to promote a link.

 

it takes long time to generate a heavy traffic. It all depend on the keywords and your site ranking.

 

submit unique content to your site and make good quality backlinks.
