    I read up on this one company where the way you get paid is if the people that signed under you, get people to sign on under them and so on. Before i sign up, does it really work? How do you promote to get sign ups anyway?

    I've known people to deal with 1000's on an offline system

    i thought it was illegal?

    I wouldn't bother personally, its like gambling and i wouldnt find the people

    i suppose its ok if your dealing with a 10er or something

    Pyramid schemes are illegal and i would stay well clear.

    Also if you use paypal with these schemes then paypal will ban your account

    It is only good if you refer this system first time in your town or city . But if anyone is already their then stay away from that .

    If it is a pyramid scheme then yes it is illegal. If it is a Network Marketing company that is different. I would do as much research as you can before joining if it is a Network Marketing company. There are some great companies out there and there are some awful ones as well. Make sure you are passionate about the people, the product or service, and the leadership.

    I was about to say Madoff but it looks like somebody mentioned it already. I wouldn't touch pyramid schemes. It'll just give you headaches in the future.

    Yes you can make a lot of money and everyone can profit if the matrix has a correct spillover (money that flows back down DIRECTLY to those at the bottom from the top) = NOT in Madoff case. The money was held at the top.

    The key is to get a flowing river of money and send it back out. (ie take what you need)

    How can everybody profit with a pyramid scheme? the nature of it is that it never genuinely generates new money - simply moves it around, so there can't possibly BE a profit.
