So I've been working on a website off and on for awhile now. I'm just writing content for it. I plan on writing about 80 pages of unique content. I'm not done writing it yet but.. in order to get better page rank should i register the domain now and host up my index page and what I have so far? Or should i put it all out there at the same time the whole site when i'm finished? Is it better to have a 1 page site and build off of it 80 times over 2-3 months? Or to just put all 80 pages at once? Thanks. I hope my question made sense lol.
Well I am new to this whole thing to. I have a couple months of experience, and I would say that you should start it now. I think it is better to get your name out now and start drawing traffic to your site. Plus you want to try and get the domain you want before someone else takes it, and then would cost you more to buy it.
Start it now. Hm what do you mean start drawing traffic to your site? Why draw traffic to an unfinished site? And will CJ.com not accept me if i have an unfinished site? haha yea true get the domain name before someone else takes it. Oh does it matter if there is a dash or not? Does it have anything to do negative or positively with search results? like bigblue.com compared to big-blue.com which one would do better or does it not matter?
start it now and phase in the content addition. If you set up your site structure right and you have a unified strategy regarding your keyword clusters (both in writing and page format), you should do okay. You should also start building links gradually.
Dont put all the 80 pages of content online at once. Update your site every day with 3-5 pages so you will be able to update if over a longer time. Maybe not everyones but my opninion.
If you have too many contents in your hand to be uploaded to your site then upload them on regular basis. This will help you in getting site ranking. The fact is that that Google like the sites which update content on regular basis.
I would wait until I had about 5 pages of content before putting it up. Also, be sure you have your Privacy, Contact, and About Us pages when you do.
I have about 18 pages written of the 80 that I want. What do you mean privacy? And do I really have to purchase a copyright thing and what people say at the bottom of their site all rights reserved. Do all people purchase that or do some people just put it there?
Google is real picky when it comes to Privacy. The Privacy page basically tells the folks about how you handle email addresses, cookies etc. You can go to any fairly decent site and see what their privacy page says, then modify it to suit your needs. Most are fairly generic. If you can't find one or feel uncomfortable about doing that, PM me and I will send you one. You don't need to purchase a copyright thing either, just stick it there. Nobody pays attention to that stuff anyway)
Writing 80 unique articles for your new website is good in terms getting organic traffic from search engine. But, to increase page rank, you should concentrate more on getting high PR dofollow backlink to your website.
