Of course this doesn't mean their search is relevant but you can search Twitter for the wrong answers, too. Then, why you would want to search Twitter is beyond me.

    Good question,

During the post Iran election, much of the media coverage in the country was blocked. The only way that the news got through was from people posting information on Twitter.

As well, last week when Michael Jackson passed away, it was blogging sites & twitter that spread the news in real time.

twitter is slowly becoming a tool for real time event/information sharing. and Bing is adding that to their search results in order to provide more relevance.

however, I agree that Bing still has much work ahead of itself to optimize its results.

Exactly and fleeting at best. Most of that stuff is so "real time" that it becomes irrelevant as the minutes go by.

Twitter is also the primary cause of the false information of Jeff Goldblum & Harrison Ford both dying the day MJ &FF did. While getting information from a trusted source is important, what happens when your trusted source gets false information? Yeah, Google can only do good by Bing adding Twitter...

Yeah, Bing is a new search engine. some people like it some people dont. but one thing for sure, it makes the engineers at Google thinking about how to improve search.

but also, i really do think bing better user interface, google is simple and provides better result. to be honestly, i sometimes use google myself out of old habits.

On some websites bing brings me good traffic and google doesn't bring any traffic.
It really depends on several factors.

I still prefer to use google as it's proven for their services. I think Bing will still go for a long way to compete well with google.

Bing might have offered some new features over google and might have got some more results over google. But, currently, I would prefer to use google as my primary SE for information.

the thing is, that once your used to something, it's kinda hard to back off from it, when i started using Google initially i was kinda hard pressed to use it, being a former Yahooligan as well as Msn Search User i was pretty hard pressed to switch to google, with the switch no happening for Bing i'm still goona be a little surprised about how people are goona hop jump and skip all the way to Bing! :D
