Some of us might don't know about Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, it's some kind of a common source of hand numbness and pain. You can see some of it's surgery pictures, hope you still good after seeing those. And it's a big risk for anyone who works daily on a computer that use mouse and computer on bad position. Here are some good postions on mouse and keyboard usage for you: and more on this post, also some hand exercise while on computer Hope this information help us on healthy workspace! And hope I'm not posting this on wrong section
good, but I think the most important is pose of back, which I never used it correctly (as many of us i think) and now it hurts sometimes
I have RSI, similar to Carpel Tunnel Syndrome. My advice, make sure you dont JUST use the mouse. Too many people keep their hand on the mouse all day... use the keyboard as much as possible (or find a good balance of the two). Make use of shortcuts etc that mean you dont have to use the mouse all day. Also make sure you arm is supported. You need you keyboard to be far back as possible, not right next to the edge of the desk. Good luck!
I've read this on email, actually it's really hard to position your hands specially if you work on longer hours. There's also a hand exercise to avoid this.
Your sitting position in front of pc as well as your hands position at the time of working with keyboard and mouse is always important so everyone needs to taken care of that. DON.
You should be careful for not only your hands and back, but also your eyes! You should always maintain a good distance from your screen not to strain or over expose your eyes... Regards, RightMan
