To be honest I think Sedo is your best bet. Otherwise I guess just post them for sale on forums etc. I've sold a few through Sedo but I only get offers very occasionally - you just need to be patient, especially when selling brandable domains rather than keyword domains.

My .me portfolio was starting to be too big for my tastes, so I decided to sell 48 of my [verb].me on ebay (see my signature for details). The auction has no reserve, I hope I'm not doing a mistake!

Any of you have experience selling domain names through ebay?

Thanks. I think there are some very good domain names in there.

Of course, this is the risk I take. If the highest bid is 50$ at the end of the auction, the winner would have all those domains for 50$.

Of course I hope it will end higher than that.

People seem to pay a lot of money for quality .me's in auctions to this day, even though I have never seen or heard of a famous .me extension site yet.

Not tried selling on Ebay before but will be interesting to see how you get on!

I think it's a great list of domains, possibly the only unattractive thing about it is that you have to buy all 50 domains - I would be very put off buying all 50 as I don't want 50 .ME renewal fees to hit me all at once!! But there's certainly some good ones in there, like justinsure.me / modifying.me / pageranking.me

    I also remember suggesting backingup.me ;)

Good luck with it - let me know how you get on! I'll post a tweet about it on Twitter in a sec, got some domainers following me

Renewing the domains you don't like is not mandatory! ;)

Wow, that's really kind and appreciated! Thanks.

What's everyone's honest opinion of .me, now in July 2009? I have a really low opinion of them. I still own about 15 .me's and don't know if buying them was a good idea. Maybe it just became a total gimmick, like .tel was?

Nothing has changed as far as I'm concerned. The value I place on .ME is in the brandability - there really is no substitute for the domains you can come up with using the word "me" for the extension. It's easy enough to develop your own sites on great .ME domains though - you can start to fulfil the potential of the domains as quickly as you like. But if you've bought .ME domains as an investment, with a view to selling for a profit, you'll just have to be patient and wait until a buyer sees the value of your domains. This might be today, tomorrow, next week or next year... my advice to you would be to be patient - if your domains are good enough, they will eventually sell :)
