I have been working on an online safety website.

Please be aware that the site is still in very early stages so it really just is the design, because no links completely work yet.

Although we have written one Article which is because of a conversation here on Digital Point,.

My personal pref would be to use a smaller eye image and logo. It seems to take a lot of real estate and don't think you need it to brand the site.

 

That is its point...

On the homepage and top sections, its there to make people "LOOK" at it...

Because right next to it is VITAL Information...

nice layout bro. concentrate on ur design.
and ur article heading text colour ( light green ) is not match with white background. cud u pls checkout that?

and ur contents are excellent, so if u use adsense, u can achive something

I will take a look into the color although many people seem to like that color because it stands out and allows them to see what it is about straight away.

Taking on board what everyone has said i have been doing a LOT of work onto the site, its design and its content.

The forms NOW work so if you have any information that you would like to submit then feel free and help us make everyone aware of SCAMS, Fraud and Cyber Crime.

Good, easy to use menubar. Nice colour scheme. The adverts are a bit prominent on the website. I prefer it a bit more out of the way on the right, rather than on the left. Good logo-image at the top.

Obviously a bit dull since there is no content yet.

Overall a very good start!

 

I think its a good idea however i feel the design is a bit boring. Also usually the people who need safety advice for online are younger people, like school kids so that design isnt appealing to them at all.

 

I like it, simple and effective, very in touch with the subject I disagree with lorddan01-those who look for such advices are their parents mostly, so it's pretty on target.

 

I like the blue look and the simplicity of the design. I always tend to use blue colours in sites that I develope, and I do like the use of colours on your site.

For the top menu, maybe instead of unlining the links, you can change the background colour instead - I think this will make the site a little better visually.

Just my opinions.

Thank you for the review, very in touch - I am working on the site to make it better and it is placed there because it takes time to review websites and carry out investigations so we must have a sponsor some way or another.

Thanks for the review. You are correct about it being for parents in a mostly kind of way because the site is for everyone and when the BlackList is up and running it should be a great way to protect yourselves against Scams, Viruses and Fraud.

Let me ask you something. I don't see which agencies you would report cyber crime to. Also how would a visitor know who you are, and what your mission is? You need to clearly outline your affiliations, and credentials so that a person can feel comfortable submitting a site to you. I wasn't comfortable with the plain vanilla look and feel, because that doesn't speak much about your credentials. Please work on that. Also you may want to post a few examples of actual acts you helped stop, or some positive feedback from users about your site. How about some actual evidence of work you have performed so far. I hope I am not overly critical of your site. I hope my criticism is of help to you.
