For those who use Youtube videos to market their websites and if you use a screen recorder to record your PC screen - I wonder which screen recorder program do you use? Which is the best (free)?
Camtasia Studio hands down, super simple to use, and the free trial demonstrates the power of the software pretty adequately.
Here's another vote for Camtasia. try the trial and decide from there. It's easy to produce the videos after. You can add music, zoom, pan, picture in picture, on and on. We have used it extensively on our PLCMentor.com site. There is open content there if you want to see how it looks. We also used that on youtube 'automationnc' if you want to see what it looks like there. Keep in mind that free is not always best.
You can also use the free CamStudio but Camtasia on the PC or Screenflow on the Mac are the best tools by far. Camtasia Studio allows you to clean up the audio noise (such as microphone hum or clicks etc) as well as splice, edit and add overlayed audio tracks. In a video course I run I show how to do this and recommend using the 30 day demo and use any profits to buy the full retail version if you find it to be an invaluable part of your marketing arsenal. The price is kinda steep at $299 but if you use it as much as I do, that's a bargain. All the best Sean
