One Page Uncoded $65 Design for HomeInsuranceSavers.com (48 Hours)

I need a one page design (uncoded) for a Home Insurance Quote website.

I did a very similar contest last week for an auto insurance website. If you are going to win this contest I recommend viewing the threads and winners of that contest.

From that contest I like how there is a cartoon-ish/mascot character in the design. However, I do not want the same girl stock photo. Also, I need to have the quote submission and any text promoting the quote submission to be in a large box. The submission button should also be very big. It is very important that quote box is very prominent.

I have already had the logo designed. Below is a link to the zip file that holds the logo that you are welcome to use.

This contest has a time frame of 48 hours but may extend longer until a desired winner is chosen.

All questions and submissions must be submitted through the thread. I will not take any PM-ed designs or questions.

 

Hello pennytrader, below is my entry, if you have any feedback for me, that would be great.

 

Colleen: Having the white background of the quote flowing to the woman's hand doesn't work. Also, the text: "Search for home insurance rates" and the text underneath this particular text must all be included into a box. Hope this helps.

Colleen: That looks a lot better! You designed the quote box right. Now I would develop the rest of the page (like adding a footer and some more content).

neilparnham: I like how you did a soft haze around the logo. However, the girl you chose does not fit with what I am looking for. Also, the quote box doesn't work. Hope this helps.

Erthy: I like this design a lot. The only thing I am struggling with is how to make "Enter your ZIP..." stand out. It needs to be tied in with the quote finder. Right now the saying is too detached, but if you could work that into your design better this submission would definitely be a consideration.

Colleen: Thanks for adding the rest of the page design. No more changes needed. I will be considering your design as one of the finalists.

Anasone: Thank you for your submission. However, your woman doesn't fit what I am looking for.

jharrvis: Very nicely done! My only recommendation is to make "Search for the Best Home Insurance...." bigger and have it red. Other than that this design looks great!

bizzard: Nice to have you in the contest. The only suggestion is to make the text and quote box stand out more. I do really like how you put the zip code in the search function. It definitely makes it easier for people to know what they need to do.
