i am currently in association with a site for SEO work. So before i kickstart today, i would like to know how much is the price of SEO work per hour ?

What I feel is $10 to $15 for normal SEO works for an average site with medium competitive keyword. If the keyword is highly competitive you can ask more than that.

If you want someone to drop a handful of spammy links, then yeah $5 will cover it.

 

Love these answers, yes on DP for someone to spam comments in bad English it can cost as little as $.90 an hour but I would not really call that SEO....

With all these 'real' SEO's working for $1-$10 an hour it is amazing the Rand at seoMOZ can get $1,000 an hour.

My answer to the OP's question would be this, for a decent SEO that knows his stuff and will actually help your site rather than get it penalized or banned is in the range of $30 - $100 an hour - a very experienced SEO that has a good reputation can get up to $200-$400 an hour.
