I am using AdBrite on my blogspot blog and make some decent money for the amount of traffic I get.

I use fullpage ads and make them display as soon as a visitors hits the page. They pay about $0.55 /1000 visits, so over time these add up.

Yahoo has an Adsense type of program called "Ads By Yahoo". Check it out.

    Hello,

Now are you asking a good alternative to Adsense in traffic and exposure or in pay rate and exchange?

If you are talking about PPC for exposure then we would recommend MySpace and Facebook PPC programs. They have a high amount of traffic each and every day, and we recommend facebook first as we have notice their ad program is a bit more sophisticated and targeted better.

Sadly only afiliates and CPA networks are better as for CPC none ...

Just to keep you informed on full page ads you will lose visitor's I tried it with adbrite the earnings are good when you have 20,000 page views a day then go down to 15,000 then to 10,000, then even lower you will realise wtf is happening. My page views a day went down to 6,000 a day my alexa ranking went from 79,000 to 135,000 it's geting back up there since I took them off it,s back up to 10,000 page views or more a day.

Which is more important to you the losing visitors or earning more money. If you lose the visitors you won't make money.

Wow thanks for letting me know this, I was just about to try full page ads from Adbrite, we get around 7k uniques a day on one of my forums so I was considering it to get some more money but I'd rather keep traffic high.

Though I would love to make more money, are pop unders any good ? eg. Adversal ?

I think no alternative to Adsence. I have tried those things but Adsense is the best.

Have you attempted to use ad serving software? It is better than adsense. For example, you can take a look at SmartPPC EVO(smartppcevo.com). This ad serving platform will allow you to earn money because advertisers will be your own and will pay you directly. Additionally, SmartPPC EVO gives an opportunity to earn from javascript-feeds (like google adsense, ypn or adbrite) and XML feeds (miva, looksmart, etc).Using it you can maximize monetization of your traffic.

Maybe you could try using a different font size?
