Wordpress template driving me crazy! Help!

Discussion in 'HTML & Website Design' started by mikemike2, Jun 30, 2009.

    I downloaded a wordpress template that was freely listed that is driving me crazy. It works perfecty, but the name of the website is in its logo, and it is not my name. The logo is a graphic .psd file, so no problem I change it to include my name. Then I search for each occurence of the old logo.psd file, and change them to the new one. When I then run wordpress the old logo is still being shown! What is going on? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    @MikeMike

    Changing the .psd file won't change anything on your blog, because websites don't use .psd files to show their images. PSD Files are just for Photoshop editing. So, once you change the PSD file to however you want it to look then; please export it as either .JPEG or .PNG - THEN upload it to your website.

    IT should work now :)

    PS: Go to your website, right click on the default logo and go "View Image" and when the image loads - look at the URL if it ends in .jpeg/.png. Note the file type and use the same EXACT filetype when you export using Photoshop.

    Is it the problem of local computer cache ?
    The key is to modify the jpg/psd the site is using .
