Hello DP, I need to host 2 websites, One is wordpress and other is a WP-multi user social networking web. So if I purchase one webhosting account, can i host both 2 websites in same package? Both domains registered in namecheap. Consider me as a N00b in this Nb: I guess this is the right thread to post this Qn. Thanks is advance. Alex
you can host multiple domain under one hosting account if your hosting package has multiple domain hosting feature. In cPanel based hosting you can host multiple domain name using Addon domain feature.

a reseller isn't absolutely necessary, it would just raise the costs but if you have the time to learn WHM and it's features then by all means go ahead - You'd also probably have to have a better budget for this as well since you technically can resell hosting to others. good luck to you.
I agree, it would cost less and since he said he is a noob I would think a shared account with add-on domains would be easier to manage. But either way reseller or shared with add-on domains he has a hosting solution that will work for his two sites.

@ op, gotta reply to this. How do you know that he doesn't want to keep his one site separate from the wordpress mu account? do you really know what he is wanting to do? since he is looking to get a reseller can then make money with it by selling hosting as well and learn WHM in the process or he can read about it. Also, some hosting companies like myself wouldn't raise his price to become a reseller as it would be rather rude and i have done this on a few previous clients to be nice and they loved it plus are still hosted with me.
