    A website's age is one of the major factors for its rank in search engines,
    it seems the site that will rank higher is the older one. True?
    then how about other factors as webiste stucture, backlinks......

    Domain age is one of the factors. For a new site to rank well in search engines, it should have excellent content first and a fair no. of quality back links as well.

    It's indeed true. Google considers them to be reliable. Other factors like meta keywords, title tags, keywords in d omain, backlinks, keyword density, bounce rate are all important.

    Domain Age is important as it indicates stability another factor is the remaining registration period. All else being equal, a site which has 10 years to expiry is better seen than a site which has 8 months to expiry.
