How you would invest $1000

I recently gained a bonus of $1000 and was wondering how I should invest it in order to gain a steady paycheck and I was wondering how you would invest it. It can be outside of webmastering also all ideas are welcome thank you

 

Unless you have a massive information advantage in a certain company (as in, you work for them or are deeply involved in their strategy), put it in the bank. The way things are going now, unless you know a ton about whatever field you're investing in, it's a stupid idea to invest in basically any major company.

That said, with the major restructuring that's going to happen over the next few years, you've got some good opportunities coming up. Bank it now and wait until something you're really interested in comes up. $1000 isn't that much money, but it's still stupid to throw it away by betting in a bad market.

Edit: Also, if you can make a steady paycheck off of $1000 you either live in subsaharan Africa or eat a loaf of bread a month. You'd need 200% interest to live comfortably on that.

 

Since I'm heavily involved in the whole web business aspect. I'd pay a freelancer to make me something incredible (ideas are already present) I'd then write or produce some type of book or commercial regarding the aspect, distribute it and put it on sale. Not a huge load of work but it's been working for me so far.

 

On a site to get it higher in rankings ..

 

research products from amazon....within HOT deal section...

and post them to eBay.......with good price rates.... you dont even need to spend....

 

a couple domains and hold onto them

Yep, investments in yourself (education, training etc) would indeed be a way not to waste time during hard times.

 

Personally, I would keep my $1,000 and my internet business separate. I've built my entire business around either free sites, or cheap sites that essentially paid their own way. when you look at it like this, you're looking at a near infinite rate of return on investment.

But with money, you need to be conservative. At least this is what's worked for me. Learn IM so that you can create money. But with the money you create, invest it conservatively so you don't have to do anything in a few years.

 

If you are sure you want to use the money for internet marketing, I would invest it in some websites. I would buy a website already making a little bit of money and then try to build onto it.

 

no one can really answer this question for you, you could invest it in something and get 1000% back or loose it all. you have to find something you have knowledge about in order to be sure about the return.

 

I would go to Via trading and buy a ton of liqudation and pay local newspaper to run an ad about my sale at my house and get to work. I am going to actualy do this but dont have enough cash yet.

 

Learn more things that can help bring more money. The best investment you can never go wrong is yourself.
