    I am starting a New social network based on WPMU and buddypress.

    i can pay 3$/month for hosting...

    But i need the mail server to really very fast since my site requires email activation for new registrations....

    Also,i need the following features..

    Atleast 7GB diskspace
    20 gb BW
    Cpanel 11
    php 5+
    Atleast 1 subdomain
    MySQL 5 Perl
    Cron
    FrontPage
    GD
    CURL
    Image Magick

    how much space are you actually using? you should expect to pay around $1/month per gb of space if you want to keep things reliable
