BBPress Help. Installation Done. But the forum doesn't show up.

    Hi there,
    The installation was very quick and easy. I installed it on forum4finance.com. During installation (step 3), I mentioned the forum url as forum4finance.com/forum ... but now whenever I go to that link it gives me a "Page not found" error.
    I have tried playing around with permalinks, but that doesn't work.

    Is there anyway to get this up. Or I did some mess.

    Did you upload your bbpress files/folders in forum folder? Also, put comment (#) before wordpress rules in your htaccess and check if it works or not.

    Hi Kailash thanks for the response.
    I uploaded the bbpress folder on the domain root. proceeded with the installation using forum4finance.com/bbpress and then on step 3 i was asked to enter a url and i entered forum4finance.com/forum and i cross checked the link i got in the installation mail ... but it does not work...

    Whats this # thing. I have never tried it before. I will check my htaccess files and let you know.

    It works now. I just renamed the installation folder... :)
