    hello friends,
    I have recently acquired a really high traffic social bookmarking site - http://starton.us

    the transfer took 5+ days time and during that time the PR updated and the site was down, and it lost the little PR it had. am sure the PR would return with the next update.

    Looking foreword to your submissions, i will send all good submissions to the homepage for more traffic :D also, let me know your suggestions and ideas.

    I am looking for monetization options too, what do you think is the best way to manetize a social bookmarking website.

    hi uttoransen, you have nice site with pretty traffic.

    in my opinion, the most effective way to promote your site is by promote to another social bookmark site also, i think you should done bulk submission regularly to various social bookmark sites (focus to high traffic sites only if you dont have enough time). Other kinds of promotion method such as blog reviews, article and directory submission are also good way to gain popularity for your site.

    thanks everyone for your replies. I do bookmark this site and editorial articles to other social bookmarking websites for promotions. I will try the article marketing and other ways later with time. Am actively doing blog commenting at the moment to promote it.

    about the load time, i guess due to the images the loading time is being affected, however once those image posts goes out of the front page, it won't be an issue. I have an high speed internet connection so i did not notice it myself :)
